AppFactory is a supplier of a wide variety of synthetic, polyester-based, print media for both professional printers and end-users. We are a young, dynamic, growing company with a team of Product Specialists, Business Development, Sales & Marketing, Operations, Warehouse and Customer Service. To guarantee further revenue growth and expansion onto the European Continent, we are looking to reinforce our team with a Sales Manager who will help promote and sell the above-mentioned synthetic print media solutions and meeting customer needs. The incumbent will be deployed on the D-A-CH market and directly report into the Director, Business Development. We encourage candidates with a professional background in (digital) small and large format laser printing and inkjet printing to apply for this position. Experience in an international environment is a plus. Native German speaker is a must. Proficiency in English is also required. Other language skills are a plus.

Required profile

  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Sales, Communication, Marketing or other relevant field of study
  • Extensive experience in sales, CRM (sales in small & large format printing is a plus). Both senior and junior profiles with a minimum of 2 years sales experience will be considered.
  • Professional language proficiency in English and German
  • Independent motivator as well as team player
  • Excellent communication skills and computer literate
  • Based in Germany, willingness to travel for customer visits and exhibitions

Job Duties

  • Services existing accounts including customer visits, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential customers and prospecting new leads.
  • Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of customers.
  • Submits quotations and orders by respecting fixed price lists and product literature.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting weekly sales reports and pipeline.
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
  • Strong Focus on expansion and improving of existing markets and export structures to enable further growth
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems and developing solutions.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional groups, attending national and international exhibitions.
  • Submits sales presentations by studying the type of customer.
  • Supports marketing team with promotional texts and publications for social media channels
